Mr. Price is a Vice President of Founders Investment Banking and has over twenty years of experience in corporate financial management. He has worked at firms ranging in size from small, independent energy producers to Fortune 500 banks as large as $80 bil in assets. During his corporate career, Mr. Price has held the titles of Corporate Controller and CFO of businesses with P&L responsibility of up to $600 mil and balance sheets as large as $13 Bil. He has been responsible for managing the development of dozens of commercial and consumer banking products, due diligence and integration of two separate bank acquisitions greater than $2 Bil each, managing the corporate strategic planning process, and working to enhance profitability across a variety of portfolio business units within a corporate structure. Prior to Founders, Mr. Price founded an independent M&A advisory and business consulting practice focused on middle market clients.
Mr. Price is originally from Madison, WV and received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Charleston (WV) as well as an MBA from West Virginia University. He resides in Hoover, AL with his wife Kara and two sons, Shane and Cory. He serves on the Advisory Board for the MBA Program at West Virginia University and is active in the Hoover community as a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church, founder of not-for-profit Hoover Baseball Club, Inc. and a member of the Buccaneer Touchdown Club board.
