Mr. Thomas is a Vice President of Founders Investment Banking’s Real Estate Practice, focusing on sale-leaseback transactions for financial institutions. Prior to joining Founders, Mr. Thomas spent thirteen years with Aliant Bank, a community bank based in Alexander City, Alabama. He served as Aliant’s Chief Credit Officer and was also a member of the bank’s asset-liability and technology committees. He remains a Director of Aliant Bank. Before joining Aliant, Mr. Thomas was a commercial banking and real estate lender for six years with SunTrust Banks in Atlanta, Georgia, where he specialized in commercial real estate construction lending and asset-based lending.
Mr. Thomas has a B.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
