Mr. Nance is a Vice President of Founders Investment Banking and has over 15 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Mr. Nance began his career in 1993 with Coopers & Lybrand, a predecessor to PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has spent the last eight years serving various companies as Chief Financial Officer--including serving as CFO for a publicly traded property & casualty insurance company. In 2008, Mr. Nance founded ClearView Accounting, LLC to provide high-level CFO services to small and medium sized companies that need financial guidance, but do not have a need for a full-time CFO. Since starting ClearView, Mr. Nance has worked with a number of companies providing assistance in dealing with lenders, managing operational challenges and mitigating strategic issues.
Mr. Nance is a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Auburn University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Alabama, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Mr. Nance serves as treasurer and board member for the Vestavia Hills Youth Baseball League and serves on the board of the Vestavia Hills City Schools Foundation. Mr. Nance is a member of Church of the Highlands.
