We all know the exponential return that comes with having talented and high character people on our team. Founders has been advising clients on M&A transactions, and seeking to do so with unparalleled service for 14 years. Delivering quality service has been a team effort and Founders has been blessed with great talent and special people.

This year we’ve started a new tradition of recognizing those special people, some of which have moved on to contribute elsewhere and pursue their personal goals and dreams, and others who have continued to grow in their career at Founders. We call it the “Founders Bullpen Hall of Fame” and our inaugural inductees are two exceptional people who have made incredible contributions to the success of Founders; David Hobbs and Brad Johnson.

David Hobbs was with Duane Donner when the firm was founded in 2003. Prior to his time at Founders, David was an Analyst for both Wachovia and Robertson Stephens. David led execution of deals and played a key role in growing the firm until his departure in 2010.  David is now President of Cook & Bynum Capital Management. While being gone from Founders for the last 7 years, David’s fingerprints and deep connection to Founders and the people of Founders remains.

Brad Johnson started as an Intern at Founders in 2008 and was hired as an Analyst in 2010. Brad has quickly climbed the career ladder at Founders, and he has played a key role in growing the Technology Practice. Brad currently serves as a Vice President in the Technology Practice with the primary responsibility of leading the execution of transactions.

We look forward to continuing this new tradition next year. There is a long list of solid A-players that have worked and still work at Founders, and we’re excited to formally thank them and highlight their accomplishments.
