Mrs. Battle is the Managing Director of Founders Investment Banking’s real estate asset management group, Foundation Fund Management Company. As such, she is responsible for managing the activities and investments of the Fund Manager, including the development and execution of fund strategy, portfolio optimization, asset management and investor reporting. She leads the underwriting, acquisition and disposition activities of the Fund. Most recently, Ms. Battle had a real estate finance consulting practice serving local development companies, corporations and governmental entities. Her prior experience includes asset management for HEALTHSOUTH Corporation’s real estate portfolio as its Vice President of Real Estate Finance and serving as a consultant where she handled sale leaseback activity, synthetic leasing, communication with secondary financing sources, REIT landlords and strategic oversight of real estate operations. Ms. Battle was also a Director of Real Estate Investments for Harbert Management Corporation’s private equity real estate funds, which included the sourcing, underwriting, financing and disposition of income-producing properties. She is a board member of the Alabama School of Fine Arts Foundation and The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham and was a member of the Birmingham Business Journal’s "Top 40 Under 40" Class of 2002. Ms. Battle is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College (B.A. Political Science).
