Founders Expands Bullpen to Support Firm Growth

New hires 4.13.17Founders recently hired two analysts, Jack Houtz and Evan Klisares, to support the firm’s growth. Their primary responsibility is supporting principals in the execution of deals across the firm.  Their duties include conducting industry and company research, preparing financial analysis, and facilitating due diligence.

Mr. Houtz is an Analyst at Founders Investment Banking with the primary responsibility of supporting transaction principals in the execution of deals across the firm. His duties include conducting industry and company research, preparing financial analysis, and facilitating due diligence. Prior to joining Founders Investment Banking, Mr. Houtz completed internships with Hanger Incorporated in Austin Texas, Sun Trust Robinson Humphrey in Memphis, Tennessee and Merrill Lynch in Jackson, Mississippi.

Mr. Houtz is originally from Austin, Texas and graduated magna cum laude from Millsaps College with a double major in Business Administration and Economics with a focus in Finance. While at Millsaps Mr. Houtz was a 4-year varsity athlete in Men’s Lacrosse and was honored as an Academic All American in 2015. Outside of the office, he enjoys weightlifting, watching and playing sports, eating BBQ, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Klisares is an Analyst with Founders Investment Banking with the primary responsibility of supporting principals in client service and execution of deals across the firm. His duties include conducting industry and company research, preparing financial analysis, and facilitating due diligence. Prior to joining Founders Investment Banking, Mr. Klisares spent four years working as an Analyst at Kingswell Capital; a Long/Short Equity Hedge Fund based in Nashville, TN.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Klisares graduated from Lipscomb University with a B.S. in Corporate Management, and a minor in Accounting. Outside the office Mr. Klisares enjoys spending time with his wife, playing chess, and reading business literature.
